Loxone Room Comfort Sensor
SKU 100276

Overview
A care home resident’s room that feels stuffy by mid-morning. A hotel meeting room that is too warm by the afternoon session. A bedroom at home where condensation keeps appearing on the window. In each case, heating and ventilation can only respond well if they know what is really happening in the room.
The Loxone Room Comfort Sensor measures temperature and humidity where people actually spend their time, and the wired Tree version adds a CO₂ sensor for air quality.
What it does
The readings go to the Miniserver, which uses them to control each room’s heating, cooling and ventilation. With the Tree version, a connected ventilation system can respond to measured CO₂ levels rather than a fixed timetable.
In its 80 × 80 mm frame it has the same footprint as the Loxone Touch, so sensors and switches look consistent on the wall.
Good to know
Tree or Air: only the wired Tree version measures CO₂, which explains its higher price; the wireless Air version measures temperature and humidity.
The Air version runs on two AAA batteries or a DC supply and can be wall-mounted or free-standing; on batteries it needs no electrical work. Decide up front which supply it will use, as switching later means setting it up again. The Tree version is connected as part of the Tree cabling, and its CO₂ sensor calibrates itself automatically in continuous operation. Available in White and Anthracite.
You can order it here. If you prefer, The Automation House can also advise on it, plan it and supply it as part of a complete solution, with installation and aftercare arranged through our installation partner.

Pros & cons
Our view on this product
What we like
- Accurate temperature (± 0.5 °C) and humidity (± 2 % RH) readings per room
- Tree version adds CO₂ measurement for air-quality-led ventilation
- Air version can stand freely, so no drilling is needed
- Same 80 × 80 mm footprint as Loxone Touch switches
Worth knowing
- The Air version has no CO₂ sensor
- The Tree version costs considerably more and needs a cable run
- Air batteries last up to two years according to Loxone and then need replacing
