Loxone Valve Actuator
SKU 100602
Available to order · ships from Loxone UK
Overview
One thermostat for a whole floor, so some rooms are too warm and others too cold. Empty hotel rooms heated to the same temperature as occupied ones. A care home resident who prefers their room a little warmer than the corridor. Heating that cannot be set room by room is hard to make comfortable.
The Loxone Valve Actuator turns standard heating valves into room-by-room controls, on underfloor heating manifolds and on radiators.
What it does
Fitted to the valve with the included VA80 adapter, it moves the valve to the position the Miniserver’s room controller calls for. It is almost silent in operation, which suits bedrooms and living spaces, and Loxone rates it for more than 500,000 closures. A button on the unit can be assigned freely.
Room temperatures and heating can be viewed and adjusted centrally in the app, alongside the rest of the building.
Good to know
Tree or Air: Tree is wired with 150 N push force; Air also runs on two AA batteries, has a built-in temperature sensor and pushes 100 N on batteries.
Check that the push force and the adapter suit your valves; other adapters are sold separately. On batteries the Air version needs no electrical work; decide up front whether it will run on batteries or a DC supply, as switching later means setting it up again.
You can order it here. If you prefer, The Automation House can also advise on it, plan it and supply it as part of a complete solution, with installation and aftercare arranged through our installation partner.
