Overview
Most buildings were not wired with automation in mind. A family home with fresh plaster, a listed hotel, or a care home that cannot close a wing for weeks of building work: in each case, chasing new cables through walls is disruptive, expensive or simply not an option.
The Loxone Miniserver Go Gen 2 is made for exactly these situations. It is a compact smart home hub that communicates wirelessly with Loxone Air devices, such as switches, presence sensors, smart sockets and in-wall modules, so a building can be automated room by room without rewiring.
How the Miniserver Go works
The Miniserver Go runs the same automation engine as the full Miniserver. Lighting, heating, shading, presence and security functions can be combined and controlled from the Loxone app. Its compact housing can be mounted almost anywhere it is protected from water and dirt (a bracket on the back allows screw mounting), connects to your network by Ethernet and is powered by the supplied USB power supply. If a project grows, wired Extensions can be added later via Loxone Link.
Central management, comfort and energy
- Phased upgrades: start with the rooms that matter most and add devices over time.
- One app for everything: see and control lighting, heating and blinds across the building.
- Less wasted energy: with presence sensors and smart sockets, lights, heating and appliances can switch off when rooms are empty.
- Minimal disruption: ideal for occupied homes, hotels and care settings where building work must be kept to a minimum.
You can order it here. If you prefer, The Automation House can also advise on it, plan it and supply it as part of a complete solution, with installation and aftercare arranged through our installation partner.
