In each case the question is the same: who is at the door, and can I let them in without walking there?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Loxone Intercom is a video intercom and door entry system in a discreet 90 × 90 mm unit with a glass front. Visitors can be seen and spoken to from the Loxone app, wherever you are, and the door can be opened remotely.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat it does\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA wide-angle HD camera covers the entrance, and a proximity sensor wakes the unit as someone approaches. The illuminated bell button guides visitors, and the microphone and loudspeaker are integrated behind the front, so it stays clean and uncluttered. It is powered over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af Mode A), so a single network cable carries power and data, supplied by a Loxone PoE Injector (available separately) or a PoE Mode A capable switch. It is surface-mounted in an aluminium mounting bracket, available separately in single, double and triple versions. It is rated IP34; the Signal White version may be mounted in direct sunlight, but the Anthracite version must not be.
